Fitting
Pressing fasteners into sheet metal
Machines used
- Lis HAEGER 618plus He
- PEM
Components used
Nut: reliably creates threads outside the material with high resistance against spinning and pulling. Compression nuts may be used for high-strength applications, for pressing into thin sheets or on the sheet edges.
Screws: reliably create threads outside the material with high resistance against spinning and pulling. Compression screws may be used for high-strength applications, for pressing into thin sheets or on the sheet edges.
Studs: can be used for thin sheets where it is necessary to create threads. Standoffs do not protrude after pressing from the sheet. Like other fasteners and standoffs, they have a high resistance against spinning and pulling.
